“Dining at Denfeld” Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser
Denfeld High School, 401 N. 44th Avenue West, Duluth, Minnesota 55807
The net proceeds from the ticket sales and donations came to $3047! Thanks to Suzie Reijo, Todd Sletten, Karen Ruona, Cindy Hedlund, and Mike and Carol Donahue for donating the food, serving supplies, table decorations, and the printing of posters and tickets! Publicity in local news and media was coordinated by Janet Blixt.
Thanks also to the live music by Denfeld students and Denfeld Alumni and DSSO members. As one diner commented: “The event is really dinner and a show!”.
A special word of appreciation for the support of KSKJ Lodge #171 of St. Elizabeth’s Parish for supporting the Denfeld music program with volunteer workers plus a matching $1000 grant!
AND thanks again to all of you, the diners and the many volunteers—students, staff and adults—who purchased tickets, made monetary donations, donated food and supplies, performed dinner music, provided the table decorations, provided publicity, and helped with the dinner itself!
